The debate over white kitchens will never die, but I love them and in some cases, they make the most sense! Such as here- if you look at the before photos, you’ll see that in addition to a truly wonky and non-functional layout, the space was dark and uninviting. After 7+ years working in there, the clients wanted white and bright and I was thrilled to give it to them. We got rid of the wonky layout; traded the tired floor tile for hardwood, installed new windows (and centered the sink on it). The classic subway tile backsplash got an injection of warmth with the latte-colored grout; we added the wood detail to the hood, woven counter stools, and lots of green accents to further cozy up the space. A custom bar area took over a previously unused area of the room (unused because there was a pony wall there! why??)
